Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents were eager in protecting US from the possible distribution of Cocaine in their country. They were able to spot a woman who allegedly inserted a ½ pound cocaine in her vagina.
There are no further say as to how the U.S Customs identified that the woman is carrying illegal drugs in her vagina.
Shakira Thompson arrived in New York from Kingston, Jamaica last Feb 21. She was immediately escorted to the private screening room for passengers. Right there, officers were able to seize a tightly packed and enclosed with tape package containing white powdery substance.
The CBP identified it as illicit drugs, cocaine, with the street value $10,000. Thompson was then arrested and charges were imposed against her.
Cocaine is a dangerously powerful stimulate that comes from leaves of coca plant. Its effects include euphoria, talkativeness and physical effects that are potentially dangerous. It is either inhaled or injected through the bloodstream. The intensity, as well as duration varies on how you use it.
Cocaine greatly affects the brain to the extent that a user can feel an extreme urge of uncontrollable drug-seeking.
Authorities are doing their best to control the spread of this dangerous drugs since it is the number one cause of hideous crimes happening in our economy today. Luckily, police authorities are strengthening their activity in suppressing illegal activities and distribution of dangerous drugs.
